Cliff View Inn is the newest addition to our family!  The building was originally a 2-story log structure that pre-dates 1850.  Changes and additions were made to the building over the years.  The Inn opened it’s doors in the summer of 2000.  Recently we have completed a major renovation project during which we enlarged and adorned our kitchen and dining area.  We also added a suite which includes a private bath with Jacuzzi® tub, and a separate sitting room. 

The inn boasts eight additional bedrooms, all offering a private bath as well.  Each of the bedrooms were decorated personally by one of our innkeepers, Susan Sponaugle, with antiques and treasures found at various local auctions. 

Set along the tranquil Jackson River, in the midst of the Alleghany Mountains, we feel there couldn’t be a better place to come and get away from it all.  Not only can you golf, but the fly fishing is out of this world!  The Jackson River has been rated #25 in Trout Unlimited’s guide to the top 100 trout streams.  We have thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of the guests we have served from all parts of the country, and have carved our business hosting return clients whose word-of-mouth kudos bring us new guests every year!
